ForgedLife itself does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
Your in‑game character names, choices, and progress are stored locally on your device using the operating system's standard app storage. We never see them.
ForgedLife saves your game progress, settings, and purchase status in local device storage (shared_preferences on Android, NSUserDefaults on iOS). This data never leaves your device except as described below.
Your device's operating system may automatically back up ForgedLife's local storage as part of your general device backup:
You can disable these backups in your OS settings at any time. See Apple's iCloud Backup documentation or Android Auto Backup documentation for more information.
ForgedLife provides an optional feature to copy your saves to the device clipboard (Settings → Backup & Sync). If you use this feature, the data leaves ForgedLife only when you paste it into another app of your choosing. We do not receive or store this data.
ForgedLife shows occasional interstitial advertisements in the free tier via Google AdMob. When ads are shown, AdMob may collect and process:
AdMob uses this information to serve and measure ads and to detect fraud, in accordance with Google's privacy practices. For details, see how Google uses information from partner sites and apps and Google's Privacy Policy.
ForgedLife offers optional in‑app purchases (Remove Ads and ForgedLife Premium). Payment is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We receive only a confirmation that the purchase was successful, not your payment details. Apple's and Google's privacy policies govern how they handle your payment information.
ForgedLife may ask permission to send local notifications reminding you to return to the game. These notifications are generated on your device by the OS — no server, no push service, no data leaves your device. You can disable this at any time in your OS notification settings, or in ForgedLife's Settings screen.
ForgedLife does not embed any first‑party or third‑party analytics SDKs. Basic crash reports may be captured by the operating system (Apple's Crash Reporting on iOS, Google Play Console Crash Reporting on Android) when you opt in through your OS settings. These reports go directly to Apple or Google, not to us, and are governed by their respective privacy policies.
ForgedLife is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. If you believe a child has provided information to us in error, please contact privacy@forgedlife.games.
ForgedLife is available worldwide. Because we do not collect personal data ourselves, no cross‑border transfer of personal information takes place. Data collected by Google AdMob is subject to Google's global data processing practices.
Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the GDPR in the EU/EEA and CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to processing of your personal information. Because ForgedLife does not collect personal information, most of these rights apply only to data processed by Google AdMob. To exercise those rights, please see Google's Privacy Policy.
To delete data local to ForgedLife on your device, simply uninstall the app.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of ForgedLife after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
